After some pondering I listed some common demands of bankers for 11th BPS.
1. Min 25% hike.
2. 5 days banking.
3. Cash transaction upto lunch, or one day cashless work in a week. ( This will reduce the amount of pending works.)
4. Regulated working hours for officers.
5. In every branch at least one local clerk and officer.
6. Easy transfer norms.
7. Equal staff allowances like mobile bill, newspaper bill, petrol bill reimbursement for all banks; may be except SBI.
8. Reasonable HRA which would be sufficient for a worth living room, in practical.
10. Annual medical allowance should not be on rank basis, rather on age basis.

These are my personal points, plz don't feel hurt if u don't agree with them. Thanks.
While going through the above demands, it is observed that the present crop Bank employees are concerned about their self only. Please spare a thought for the retired employees whose relentless sacrifices made the trade union movement going and a window for bargain for increase in wages is open. The retired staff have been deprived of the benefits of grade pay in pension computation during the last settlement.One day or other every one of the present crop will join us and it is pertinent to take care of the interests of retired employees.

ReplyDeleteLet all unions come together and have common demands. There should not be delay on our part to putforth demands. Our demand must include enhancement of gratuity ceiling to 20 lakhs and free or hospitalisation reimburesement to retired staff at nominal premium only.

How about 1 million bankers’ [both working and the retired] fate? 99.99% of 10 lac bank employees are 100% honest to the core and hard working. Their combined contribution to the enormous growth of Banking Industry can be seen here under, as per RBI Published data of 27 scheduled commercial banks as on 31.03.2017:
1. Deposits INR in Billions-111115.89.2. Advances in INR Billions-812884.
3. Investments with Central/State Govt. in INR billions-31356.99
4. Willful Defaulters:INR.8.00 lac crore.
When Rs.45,000 crores worth of EPF is under the purview of CAG, how about [27] Banks' Pension Fund worth 1.99 lac crores?
Unless & until UFBU/CBPRO/AIBRF incorporate Banks’ Pension Fund, in their manifesto for ALL INDIA STRIKE, no end to exploitation of Bank employees.
In view of the fact that Punjab National Bank transferred INR.2056 crores transferred from Pension Fund to PL account P & L account to show marginal profits.Despite hue & cry WISDOM OF bank trade union groups' IS AWAITED!!!
